Scrubs Overview

Intern John Michael “J.D” Dorian (Zach Braff) learns the meaning of life, friendship, and the medical practice at the unreal Sacred Heart Hospital in “Scrubs”. Stylized as “[scrubs]”, the series details the lives of several employees at the teaching hospital linked together through Dorian’s narration and daydreams. Premiering on October 2, 2001, on NBC before moving to ABC, “Scrubs” has nine seasons. Dorian narrates the first eight seasons while a new intern, Lucy Bennett (Kerry Bishé), handles the final season.
