NCIS Overview

Crime investigators from the U. S. Navy’s Naval Criminal Investigation Service tackle the nation’s top military criminals on the CBS crime drama “NCIS”. Commander Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) leads his Major Case Response Team (MCRT) as they take down violators of the Navy’s Uniform Code of Military Justice in the 18-season spin-off of CBS’s “JAG” series. “NCIS” began on September 23, 2003, and is the second-longest currently running series on television. It also has its own spin-off series: “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “NCIS: New Orleans”.
