Dexter Overview

Dexter is an American crime drama mystery television series based on characters created by Jeff Lindsay for his "Dexter" series of novels. The series follows Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a forensic technician for the fictional Miami Metro Police Department. The show ran for eight seasons from October 2006 to September 2013. Show creator Clyde Phillips has announced that the show will return for a brief 10-episode limited series in late 2021, with Michael C. Hall returning to the title role.
