13 Reasons Why Overview

13 Reasons Why is an American drama that is targeted at teens and streams on Netflix. The series is based on the novel of the same name by Jay Asher. The series follows Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette), a high school student that receives a box of videotapes that belonged to Hanna Baker (Katherine Langford), a teenage girl that committed suicide and left behind these tapes that gave thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Each of the recordings is dedicated to a specific person that Hannah lists as a reason she chose to end her life. The series features flashbacks from Hannah's perspective on the tapes. Many issues begin to unfold within the community due to Hannah's videos and the people she called out.
